One of the ways hackers and scammers trick you into installing malware is by getting you to download and install what appears to be a legitimate application. Legitimate software publishers have their software “signed” by a trusted third party. One easy way to identify potentially dangerous software prior to installing it is to look for this signature, known in the industry as a “Code Signing Certificate.” Watch to improve your desktop security.
